Hey Beautiful – Clay Jewelry
I’m Loretta and I am the designer and creator behind Hey Beautiful Clay Jewelry.
I have been married to my best friend since 1985. We have three grown children and nine grandchildren. We live in a log cabin at the end of a dead-end gravel road in Warren County, Indiana. We built our home ourselves with the help of our friends and family and have been here for a couple of years now. It is a dream come true dating back to when we were first married.

At the start of 2021 I was working in the healthcare industry as a nurse. For a number of reasons, I walked away in the fall of 2021 after a 30-year career. I decided it was time to take care of myself and spend more time with the people I love.
My obsession with clay started in June of 2021 when my hubby bought me my first pair of clay earrings at a street festival while we were on vacation in Florida. I was immediately drawn to the idea of making my own jewelry. I now work full-time on my clay business.

I get asked quite often how I came up with my business name. Well, everyday when my hubby and I arrived home from work he would greet me with “hey beautiful.” I had been agonizing over a business name for sometime when I arrived home one day after he had already arrived. He was sitting on the front porch and again greeted me with “hey beautiful” as soon as I got out of the car. I instantly knew this was my business name
